It's never too late to celebrate!
What a season to remember. Our 7th grade girls basketball team delivered nothing short of excellence, charging through the regular season with a flawless 25–0 record that reflected their discipline, teamwork, and relentless drive. Game after game, they proved that preparation and heart make champions long before the final buzzer sounds.
Their incredible journey culminated at the state championship on December 11, where they battled with grit and pride, earning a hard-fought 2nd place finish against a strong Bethalto Trimpe squad. While the final result marked the end of the season, it did not define it. This team defined themselves through perseverance, unity, and an unwavering belief in one another. They didn’t just win games—they set a standard, inspired their community, and showed what’s possible when dedication meets determination. This season is surely one to celebrate. CONGRATS! 🏀✨
Mrs. Sikkema’s commitment, kindness, and care have made a lasting impact on our school community, and she will truly be missed. We are so grateful for all she has done for CPS and wish her the very best in this next chapter.
