Mrs. Couri’s third grade class learned about and practiced sketch notes. Mrs. Couri collaborated with Mrs. Stefanie Crawford, Professional Development Coordinator, ROE 53 on this reflective activity making meaning utilizing images and phrases. 📚🍎💙

Parents of RETURNING students-Please login to Skyward Family Access to register during that time. This includes kindergarten students who already preregistered in the spring. There are a few additional steps for kindergarten families to complete.
Parents of NEW students-Please visit our website, www.central51.net, and click on the Registration Info link to register your new student.
Call the office if you have questions. Summer office hours are Monday-Thursday from 9:00-2:00pm.

Good Morning. What an exciting day at CPS. Field Day is in full swing. Because students are moving across the road in front of CPS we have closed the road. If you need access to CPS please use the Newcastle Road entrance. CIS families please use the CIS parking lot entrance.

Ms. Evan’s Kindergarten class has butterflies! 🦋
Miss Turner’s class LOVED having pen pals with a third grade class in Sioux Falls, SD! We wrote a letter to them each month, and students looked forward to the day that they received a pen pal letter! Mrs. Gardner (the teacher of the class in SD) had an idea to have a video chat, which happened today! 😊 This was just one way that we made writing fun during this crazy year!
