Congratulations to the Track & Field State Qualifiers for this week's upcoming State Meet! The 8th Grade Girls finished in 1st place at Sectionals!! 14 events qualified to move on to State. Good luck this weekend! We are so proud! GO TROJANS!!!

CENTRAL CARE CLUB BOOK SALE FOR ST. JUDE
The Central Care Club is ready for business beginning Monday, May 19th through Thursday, May 22nd.
We have hundreds of books for sale and each book is only $0.25! Please see the attached flyers for more information.
We will be open each day of the week so if students have money and their teacher's permission, they can come to the book fair at any time during the school day to purchase books to prepare for summer reading!

INDOOR GRADUATION TOINGHT!
Due to the unpredictable weather forecast for this evening, including the potential for high wind gusts and varying chances of rain and severe weather, we have decided to move our 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony indoors.
The ceremony will now take place in Holford Gym at 6:30 p.m.
Usher's arrival at 5:30 pm. Please enter at Central Gym.
Graduate arrival at 5:45-6 pm. Please enter at Central Gym.
Doors for seating will open at 5:45 pm
To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, each graduate will receive six tickets for guest seating in the gym. Tickets will be distributed to students today at school. The CPS Lost & Found is overflowing and currently located in the lobby! If your child is missing a jacket, water bottle, lunchbox, or any other items, please have them stop by and take a look. We’ll be donating unclaimed items soon, so now’s the time to check!
Reminder, the Girls Basketball Camp registration closes today to guarantee a camp shirt! Registration will still be accepted after today, but camp shirts will not be guaranteed. We look forward to another great summer camp!

CPS and CIS partnered up for Science Buddies. Students learned about the heart and how exercise affects heart rate by designing their own labs. The smell of the heart was not appreciated by some. 😆
🎉 A huge thank you to the Central PTO for their generous donation of new soccer goals and pinnies for our students to enjoy during recess! 🙌⚽️ These new additions will make recess even more fun and exciting for everyone. We appreciate your continued support in making our playground a place for active, engaging play.
